Kneeling before you doesn't sound like a bad idea. ? Uhm, I mean... ?

Of that you will soon learn.
My fending skills amazes.
(I honestly use tasers. ?)

If she were to really, and truly try to rip me apart I... might... win. Since I'm smart enough to go for the eyes. But I'd probably come out of it beaten and very VERY bloodied. It's not something I like to think about, because my girl means the world to me. But a coworker a long time ago told me about how she got her scars all up and down her arm. She had a shep that was starting to lose her mind as she got older (canine dementia, or something like that.) The shep, with no prior provocation, violently turned on her. She and her husband were able to get the dog off of her, but from the deep but healed scars on her arm, it was truly the stuff of nightmares. Something I hope to never have to experience.
When I was much younger I had a dog that lost his mind. He never attacked me, or any human, yet despite how close we'd been I was genuinely afraid of him in the end. I was too young to fight effectively; if he had attacked, there would have been nothing I could do to defend myself. So I was banished from the yard for weeks until the end came, and my first ever friend died not knowing friend from foe.

Well, that was a fun story. I could be an award-winning children's writer with plots like that.
