I’m sure it IS nice, and I would LOVE to get it done. However, every bit of research I’ve done, which includes asking the people that do the lazering, (would they be called lazerers?) have said that it wouldn’t work on my hair
 
My gf has had it done and it is very nice indeed. She does have dark hair so maybe there is something in this "It does not work for light hair" argument. But it was not expensive and once it is done you can throw away those razor blades, or even the dreaded wax.... Delicious!! :cool:

Personally, I prefer silk smooth shaves for myself and partners. I have become addicted to the enhanced sensations that just can’t be felt when there is a ton of hair. It also makes oral more enjoyable for me, and it just looks damn hot. I know all of us have our own quirks and preferences. What do you guys think?

I'll toss this out there as a question for my fellow eggheads..... did our body hair come from Neanderthal or Denisovian influence, or did our line of homo sapiens have it naturally? :unsure:

The hair removal laser works on the dark pigment of the hair and root, other laser treatments are mainly skin oriented treatments. An IPL laser treats age spots, sun damage, freckles, some vein issues etc.

I suspect thats where the diligence comes in. Admittedly, on the skin of the lady 💜 of whom I speak, the Grey/Blonde hairs were hard to spot....and I did tweeze them from time to time....Her hair was Auburn originally, but it was only the finer light colored ones I plucked. She was half-Cajun and slightly swarthy. but it was a success. I recommended that salonista many times. Her clients all came away happy...but it does take time.

If theres really a point to such a question, the genetics would have existed before our specificity. Every living primate is haired over. We are the only primate known to wear clothing. Clothing does the job of body hair fairly effectively. The Basic evolutionary rule covering the question is "Use it or lose it"...we just havent quite lost it yet.

I do love the feeling of having a shaved crotch, but I find it's too high maintenance given that it's only me here.

Also getting ingrown hairs between your legs is absolute torture.
 
Eh, question is a little too absolute for my tastes. I voted "shaved", but it feels like asking if I want my lawn scoured of all vegetation and turned into a rock garden or left to grow rampant. Neither - I want the lawn maintained with the minimum amount of work required to prevent it becoming a total mess. Trim the grass down to a reasonable length at somewhat regular intervals, and, if necessary, occasionally burn the fence-row.

I have no strong opinion on pubes, but I consider shaved armpits an absolute must, for myself as much as anyone I'm with. Not sure why, but if your pits aren't shaved, I'm not interested in sex unless you leave your shirt on. I also shave two of my own toes, because they grow this weird, wiry, super-coarse hair that is totally different from all my other body hair, and it freaks me out a little to touch it. I never understood why leg shaving is such a thing. Unless a woman's legs are significantly hairier than mine, I hardly even notice. Maybe other people react to it like I do to armpit hair, but it just isn;t that big an issue to me.

Coming round to the actual point of the question, I can go either way on pubic hair. I don't exactly have a bald fetish or a hairy fetish (at least in real life: shaven all the way in porn, purely for the unobstructed view of the action). Clean shaven is a bit more convenient for going down on, but sometimes I kind of like to toy with hair during foreplay. I had never put much thought into this before, but I guess my ideal would be shaved lips, with a decent bush higher on the mons. As for my own body hair, other than the pits and toes already mentioned, I keep it however my girlfriend likes it. When I'm alone, like now, I don't see any point putting up the effort, so it just gets left natural. I've never had a woman request total hairlessness from me, but I have had my balls bald and my other pubic hair trimmed short for long periods of time. I also waxed my ass-crack once. Not particularly interested in doing that again, but if a woman was insistant, I might. Depends.

Yes. Doing each others' intimate grooming is great, especially if followed by shower sex. If I get to participate, that moves me from "Eh, shaved I guess." to "Shaved. I definitely want some shaving going on." I think maybe my liking for this comes from the way the first porn novel I read started with the girl shaving the guy's balls, then sucking him off with no hair in the way. The story must have left an impression.

However the idea got into me at first, I still find it very hot. More than the obvious physical fact of touching each others' genitals, there is a strange kind of casual intimacy in doing simple maintenance tasks for each other. It's a sense of being let in on something. Not a great metaphor... it sounds like I didn't previously understand how shaving works, and has unwanted overtones of exhibitionism, but you should get my point. It's late and I'm too tired to come up with a better one. It's similar to how a woman might be a bit prettier with her makeup on, but it's nice that she feels OK spending time with you without it. Is that better? It feels worse somehow, but I don't know how... Well, time for bed.

I trim. Fighting with ingrown hairs is a real pain in the ass. If your talking full body? Same issue and a whole lot of work someone like myself.
