Bestiality in mainstream media

I just got done watching Libidine, and I am not sure I would count that as "mainstream media". There was so much sex it felt like I was watching porn with plot. But I suppose this was more a product of its time. I was pleasantly surprised however that the zoophile relationship, which plays a central part in the movie, was the only relationship portrayed in a positive light. The girl showed genuine love for her animal partner, and the sex scenes were strangely cute.

In James Patterson’s book Kiss the Girls (which was made into a movie with Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, and Cary Elwes), there is a kidnapper/rapist who abducts a group of women into some kind of underground home in rural North Carolina.

One of the women commits a violation of his rules and he sows a living snakes’s mouth shut and shoves it up her ass as a punishment.

It’s been a long time, but I remember being totally shocked by that scene in the book.

I don't think this qualifies as bestiality so much as it does animal cruelty and torture. I guarantee there is nothing sexual about the situation from the snake's point of view.

So, a member just followed me (thanks!?) and I noticed on her profile the attached image from the popular TV cartoons series, Family Guy. I will confess I've never watched it although I'm aware of it. Is that image for real? Did that scene/story line actually occur on that series??! Whether it did or didn't, is anybody aware of other references -- positive, negative, neutral, comedic, etc. -- to zoophilia, beastiality, the zoo life in pop culture and on mainstream media? I'm especially interested in hearing about references there that are neutral to favorable or at least comedic.

i don't watch family guy for quite some time, but i think it's fake... not many american made media gets this graphic with sexual stuff. i don't think they ever shown a single woman nipple either.

the closest i remember they got with sexual stuff (zooey sexual stuff) was a scene where they were publicly playing lois' porn tape and cut to a lipstick being opened as an analogy to brian getting an erection. which i found kinda hilarious, given how often violent and gory scenes appear on the show... this "gore and violence is fine, but no sexual or suggestive stuff in our wholesome show!" is just weird to me.

A little off topic, but I've been seeing alot more news articles about people getting caught with animals. Way more then i ever remember seeing in the past.

I probably should have realized that; but I've never seen the show and I'm not sure even now whether it's on cable or Network tv. There's a lot of risky stuff on cable and streaming services, so I thought well could it be real? LOL. I guess I was naive
