Look at it this way. What is faith? It's a high degree of trust or confidence in something or someone with no evidence or proof of that something or someone. What's the opposite of faith? Reason/science. One doesn't believe blindly in anything unless it's right in front of their eyes or proven over and over that it's true.

Why do you think God told Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge? Because Adam and Eve then would know that God was just a figment of their imagination.

Put it in this perspective. Satan represents the truth, science and reason. The very same things that destroys faith. Faith is God's sustenance and he'll die without it. That's why God says Satan is evil and yadda yadda so we'll don't gain knowledge and keep giving him faith.

Remember God is supposed to be everything. Omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. Therefore God is evil as well as good. He's mostly evil. He killed off all the other gods. Killed millions of humans because he had a little poopoo in his diaper. Throws temper tantrums. Raped a virgin and stuffed her with a version of himself.

Satan tries to give us knowledge. We are gaining a lot of knowledge and we practically are gods. We know that there's no such thing as One God created everything in 6 fucking days. Lol. We are learning that the Bible and all religions was just stupid shit from our ancestors when they tried to explain the unexplainable.
