In most of the porn videos I tend to see only breeds like Pitbull and rottweiler. I was wondering if there could be a reason for such selection? Is this because the viewers like to see such aggressive dog breeds mating women or is it because they are of appropriate height for girls/easy to train? thoughts??

Probs also related to just how common the dogs are? Rottweillers are fairly common dogs, and pitbulls are technically a range of a few breeds of dogs, and many mixed breeds are often mistaken for pitbulls, so the amount of dogs you could identify as pitbulls also comes out pretty high.
Same goes for other dogs I've generally seen (though I don't watch that much porn here), quite a few labs and German Shephards, just common dogs.

The dogs that show up in films are always the most popular medium and large breeds in the mundane world. Rarer breeds might "finger" the owner as a producer. In the porn game, its not desirable to have your work follow you everywhere. Anonymity is important when you walk out of the studio. Pit bulls are not just common....they're ubiquitous. Very easily obtained, easy to train, and every big neighborhood probably has a litter up for grabs at any given time. Rotts are almost as widely available....note that both breeds are perceived as "Tough" by the young males of the world, though the reputation is mostly BS. But the Rep keeps the critters cheap and available.

Even as mixed breeds... the facial structure is a dead giveaway.
So, in all likelyhood, it's just a mixed breed dog and those are the two breeds you see first, like most.
It's the same reasoning behind why pitts have the reputation they do.
If a dog bites you, and it looks sorta like a pit, your instincts are gonna tell you its a pit, even if its 1/8 pit.

Maybe it's because they can be super protective so single women get them as a guardian as well as a boyfriend but I've also heard Rottweilers have a large cock compared to other breeds around the same size... Although idk how true that last part is

They are really good boys, it's because they get seen as tough so shitty owners get them and abuse them or train them badly until they snap and attack someone
I had a dog who was a hunting dog who was given to us because she didn't like "conflict" (I don't like when people use other animals to do the hard work because they can't hunt on their own, weak people) and sometimes on rare occasions she would stalk us and when she got close she would stand up and place her paws on our back and support herself on us.... She was so happy when she snuck up on us like that but it used to scare me, I know she wouldn't kill me but I was a little worried she would kill my mum.... She wasn't a huge fan of my mum

that's great I think some dogs like hunting, but it should be up to the dog and not the owner. i know my dog somehow managed to catch a dove when she was younger and was very proud of herself... but if the dog doesn't like it then they should never be forced into it, and the line should be clear when the dog's life is on the line.

Who wanna see woman mating with "so called" dogs like Chihuahua, Maltans or other small tiny pets? Strong looking dogs like amstaff, doberman, rotweiler fits better to women with size and weight. "Big" and aggressive dogs probably key into some degrading ideals for the woman or those involved. Plus, with the reputations of these dogs, it's basically shouting "hey look at me! I can have sex with an evil dog and survive!"

Rottweilers are more common in the pro $ porn vids, yes. I haven't see too many in homemade vids at all. Labs are and lab crosses are probably the most common then, along with pitbulls. I think pitties are common because as others mentioned they're a commonly owned dog breed, especially crosses. I see them a lot walking with their owners, especially women that have at least a slightly alternative look to them.
Next, pitties usually have a generous sized knot without too much shaft length. They may not base their decision on that, but it works.

Pit bull is the most common breed by a longshot. They also tend to be quite dominant and are least likely to be neutered. Specific brerds are more likely identifyable. "Blond girl with a german shepherd with distinct markings" can be better traced than "generic grey pitbull"
