Why is her pussy so dark?

I want to say it's because she's in heat. They typically darken when they swell up and after their season for breeding is up, they start to return to their normal shade of flesh. I don't have the scientific reasons why it happens, just first hand experience and that's what the female dog I was close to did at least.
 
could be breed specific. some breeds like my kuvasz girls have naturally deep pigmented loveholes (fortune cookie and anus both) like that. It could be that she may be part kuvasz, but not necessarily the case as I have seen the trait in other breeds as well.
 
outer lips may have dark or any other pigmented coloring on outside, much like all the dog belly/backside would under the hair - depends on a dog but id say shes pretty normal

honestly, those look like two different dogs to me.

dog's skin can be different colors. some dogs have black skin in their private areas, and some have pink skin. *shrug* that's it.
 
Just like humans, some people have pink genitalia, others have brown, or even purple-ish. Dogs are the same.
