That's a gun I'd be scared to take anywhere for fear of putting a nick in it - classic hang-it-on-the-wall-behind-glass "display-only" material.

I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-12 grand? I know W-R's don't come cheap even when they're "working guns", but a showpiece like that... The air's WAY to thin up in that area for me! :)

Gotta be honest - I got an "optics ready" version of the 316L from Del-Ton, so no sights on it - just a flat-top receiver with rail, and a Midwest Industries Mlock handguard cage with rail-continuation. Except for the desert tan Magpul "MBUS" flip-up sights I've got on the rail until the scope I have on order arrives (And perhaps after, assuming the scope clears them), it's only "mostly" black. :)

Actually it's an IWI Tavor. Bullpup design.
 
I only got one scary black rifle, that being an FN-FAL. I also have an AK but that ain't black and it's really just a decoration at this point.
 
I'd love to own some scary black rifles of my own. I'm one of those dudes who thinks people should marry whoever they want, smoke as much weed as they want, and own as many guns as they want.

I've never had the money to dedicate to guns, just have a little ruger sp101 revolver my grandfather gave me on my 21st birthday. It's definitely giving me some peace at night during these crazy times.

It's got a cute little pop to it with the 357 magnum but the factory grip is dogshit.
 
i live in a anti handgun country, but one can drive a tank on the roads on a H drivers license and a smooth bore cannon could be put on a shotgun license. i hope to get my mental health in order to get my .22 Lee Enfield single shot legally back to start shooting again. see it as a interesting case, suicidal but had a .38 handgun and ammo. when i felt bad i took my guns and went to the club to shoot my troubles away.

Just don't go Che Guevara on anyone, and this is someone who leans more to the left than the right. (Actually don't got a side, just people who I tend to agree with a little more than the other.)

Where i live, it is harder to get a rifled barrel rifle than it is a shotgun license. handguns are banned full stop.
if you get a pass on a driving test for a H license you can drive a armoured tank on the road, if the rifling is drilled out of the cannon you can use it as a blankfire gun for shows held on a shotgun license.

where i used to live, i got a .38 revolver and .22 Lee Enfield on a license to keep in the house with 1000 rounds of ammo for each. No mental health check needed. Even though i struggled with suicidal feelings, i never thought of shooting myself, i just took my guns to the club and shot cardboard to clear my head as it is like meditation for me.
once i get my EMDR sorted and a clear mental health bill then i can ask for my license again, i love target shooting.

i hope it clears it up a bit, i am doing my best between medication intake and trying to find words as English is not my first language.
 
Yow, if you're feeling down enough to ever point a firearm at yourself, just do yourself a favor, and don't do it. Hopefully things will get better for you soon. If I may ask, what makes you feel the way you do?
