I believe its for the "news feed" option when you go to the "whats new" page. Which I rarely look at, but that's my guess at least.I don't really understand following. I've followed a couple people on here, but I don't even know what it does. I do know my mama always told me to beware if a stranger follows me. lol

Yes, that's how it works. However, users can disable notifications, so even if someone signs up in vain, they won't receive a notification either. However, the forum does not say anything about this.I believe its for the "news feed" option when you go to the "whats new" page. Which I rarely look at, but that's my guess at least.
A. You must be new to the internetNever heard of that but off the top of my head two reasons. could be wanting recognition or having a bad experience trying to follow on social media
I follow a handful of people here, but only the people I feel I actually like and want to see more from. It’s not just some stupid thing I need to make myself feel more important.Someone posts the "do you mind if I follow you" line? It's simptastic.
I think it's funny that I saw on someone's profile that they said following them is NOT ALLOWED and bitched at someone for doing so.Someone posts the "do you mind if I follow you" line? It's simptastic.
