What Video Game are You Playing Right Now v2

But I am curious, do new releases cost the same there as if buying a console version?
Here's an example of how I'll buy games. One of my 2 purchases during Steam's summer sale 2 weeks ago.
Untitled-1.jpg

Or a month before that, a $90 game 85% off for only $14.00.

Or this one back in Dec. '20
Subtotal$360.43
Discount-$337.26(-93%)
Tax$1.72
Total$24.89

Or this charity bundle in Apr '20.
Subtotal$710.42
Discount-$674.88(-94%)
Tax$2.36
Total$37.90

Holy shit that's a huge discount. I might look into this. Skyrim is amazing for me, but it does get stale after a while. And I hate going to the game stores, they are always busy and smell like sweat lol. So this may be a good alternative

Steam literally always has stuff on sale, and they run 3-4 huge sales every year.

Or check out Epic. They have a much smaller catalog, but they give out 1 or 2 free games every week. And usually a week or two before Steam runs one of their big sales Epic runs one, during which they give out a free game every day. They also run coupon boosted sales a couple times a year that let you take an additional $10 after the sale price. The free games are usually some weird indie game, but from time to time they give a big name title. About a month ago they gave out Borderlands 3 for free. I've got about 140 games on Epic, have only paid for about 15 of them.

Borderlands 3 free? Shit even a weird indie game might end up being a gem. Thanks dartel, I don't feel so old anymore lol. Seriously though appreciate the info!
