A few hours ago I made one. Greek style yogurt + water + salt = Homemade kefir.
And if you add a little bit of dill, it's magnificent!

That is not Kefir. Kefir can ONLY be made with actual Kefir cultures. Period. Yogurt has "yogurt cultures" which are VERY different than Kefir cultures. I'm sure your beverage was quite delicious though. I'll have to try that sometime. Thank you for the recipe.
