I am an independent moderate or 'purple' (red + blue = purple). Perhaps a 'Centrist'. America's two party system is disgraceful with it's partisan politics. What's needed is a party that puts America first in a balanced, informed manner. I'm tired of hearing the rantings of both the conservatives and the liberals over who's in the White House. The REAL issue is Congress. The ONLY thing that may set America back on track is getting rid of parasitic career politicians by placing term limits on Congress. This will only happen via a states led constitutional convention as Congress isn't about to put limits on itself...
 
I feel bad as I don't participate in these thing and close my mind off to those thoughts.....this needs to change for a better future. Lots of people think one person can't change anything I beg to differ
 
I haven't seen a party that I agree with completely. I wonder why people get attached to some group. I bet none of them agree with all the standards of their party.

bruh… the Republican party hasn’t been sane since the death of Lincoln. waiting for maga to extinguish and return to the “good old days of conservatism“ is like waiting for a tumor that’s about to kill you to shrink down to a tumor that’s “just annoying” with all the pissing and coughing blood. conservatism (and by association neoliberalism i.e. Biden) is a cancer. we are watching it in real time metastasize into full-blown fascism. I thank DOG every day that the younger generations are far more progressive and pro-socialism (which is not communism) than Gen X and boomers. if neo liberals, conservatives and dictatorial foreign regimes (i.e. China, Russia, Iran) don’t kill humanity with unregulated AI then maybe Gen z and Gen Alpha will save our society when they take the reins of power.

You've mistaken me as someone who thinks they're a "victim." I've never once been a victim, and btw, no one ever "forces" me to do anything. Ever. Anyone who knows me, knows that.

In most states now, they publicly display voter information online, like your name and address and political affiliation. I remember reading about some guy down south killing his neighbor because he was a Democrat. ?

I don't know, but I can say this, I'm not sure the right to free speech means you can call out anyone. Like Kristy, I keep my own political leanings to myself and have no reason to share them here.

I simply pointed out how ridiculous it is to willingly go online to an anonymous forum and declare you're NOT going to be sharing information to an anonymous poll that you didn't have to participate in the first place AND THEN dress it up as American patriotism.
I didn't ask her to share her political leanings, nor do I care.

Then she decides to respond to me by talking shit about how tough she is and talking down to me calling me "boy".

And now here you are defending that behavior.

Anyways yes in case you missed it... That is how free speech works. I am allowed to say whatever. Of course, there's limits on a forum like this but I am allowed to say what I want to a respectable degree.
