Finally, someone else who has noticed this. Dane dicks are big, but kinda boring looking. Their dicks are pointed like a carrot and bright red. In fact, I notice a common trend with most breeds where they tend to have the carrot shape and red color. GSDs and rotties on the other hand tend to have more bulbous looking penises, with knots that almost look like a bulb of garlic instead of a big lump. The color is usually way different too. I o ly notice the red on the tip and knot mostly, while the shaft is an almost purplish white color with blue veins.

And I agree with the smell thing too. Its almost like a musk unique to the breed. They don't smell like wet dog either when they get wet.

When saying "smell", you talk about GSD or Rottie? I also love GSD cocks ( never met a Rottie ) and I must be agree, love the blue purplish shaft that their cocks show. Just mouthwatering.
