What are your favorite horse breeds?

I'm honestly not as up on horse breeds as I should be, but I do love Paint and Appaloosa. I love animals with patterns

*smiles* I can't say I have a 'favorite' breed as I am totally 'in love' with virtually ALL equines hence my nick/moniker. I happen to be keeper to mostly Morgan mares but providence is how that happened, not a breed preference...

Was in Ireland for a year and thats where i started to get attached to horses. Only one reasonable answer for me: Irish Cobh or Tinker. They are calm, friendly, reliable but still firm in their mindset. In statue they are short but strong and bulky. In the same category are Haflinger. They are also mischivious but magnificent.

A hard 1 is my favorite

What are your favorite horse breeds?

Here are mine:
Andalusians
Boulonnais
Friesians
I grew up on what would technically be called a horse ranch. My dad was a hobbyist. We raised rodeo bucking stock. The majority of our horses where quarter horses. My sister's prize barrel racing horse was thoroughbred, I had an appaloosa, my mom had a couple of palominos, and then my brother and sister both had Shetlands. My dad had a wagon made for the two Shetlands to pull during every rodeos grand entrance. We had one horse that was not a Clydesdale but was just as big. My dad bought him for me when I was 8 or 9 during my knight in shining armor phase because it was similar to what a knight would have ridden into battle.
