Rightfully so. I would never let any partner or person get in the way of my dog and I. Its sad though, because many guys would gladly throw their dog away/"under the bus" for a girl they like. They are quite literally the definition of not only a shitty friend, but a simp (not gonna apologize for the word, but if its not tolerated to say here, i will remove it)
