Being trans isn't a fetish, do a lil research before you think with your dick dumbass

I think you've took that the wrong way. As someone who is attracted by it, it is a fetish for me. I'm by no means saying being trans is fetish. I'm not Intending to offend anyone, entirely the opposite.

Anything your attracted to can be a fetish for that person. The actual definition of a fetish " a form of sexual desire in which gratification is strongly felt. It can be linked to a particular object or act" So I'm not being a dumbass!!
Why are you taking offence to something that clearly wasn't intended to be offensive.

Apologies if my wording in my earlier post did offend anyone. That was not my intention. I was actually referring to myself in that instance. For me it is the two biggest things I enjoy most, maybe that's a better way of wording it ?‍♂️

OK I take that onboard. It was not meant in that way at all and I apologise. I wasn't intending on sexualising trans women in the slightest. Again apologies if I offended anyone ? It was poorly worded

Why are you apologising for what or whom you are? Everyone is supposed tbe grown up and open minded here...isn't that another reason why this site exists?

Tbh their response could also be construed as offensive..no need to call anyone a dumbass.

Live and let live, life's too damn short.

I like all sorts of people, not often sexual, it's more their vibe, their soul I'm attracted to... if we click great, if not, still good friends...

Anyhoo, y'all play nicely, and have a blessed weekend

I'm MtF trans. But... I've come to realize I'm a little more complicated than just transsexual. Not entirely sure what to call myself. Girl flux, demiflux, gender fluid, non-binary or a host of other sexualities and gender identities. I live full-time female, pass very easily... but I have another part of my life where I am.., well, not male, but not entirely female either. That's usually kept quiet though, I don't present that in public.

Love to see everyone posting on here, not trans my self but I love seeing people be then selves. If anyone is from KC even more love to ya, and hey maybe we will bump into each other some day

Agender here - not the most fun existence, as the vast majority of countries only allow for full gender reassignment, and there are very few options for folks like me who simply want a smooth crotch. I've never been into sex as the person doing the penetrating, so it's not like I'm losing out on anything there. I've never wanted to have kids, so no worries there, either.

It's a bit heartbreaking just how much agency people truly lack over their own bodies when it comes down to making a change that wider society seems to disagree with.

I just signed up today after stumbling across the forums, and I'm MtF 28. Started my transition when I was 25. Just been browsing around and leaving replies here and there. It's the first time I've joined a community like this, though I came to terms with my own zoo interests long ago.

Please explain "trans". You have XY chromosomes and vagina, or have XX chromosomes and have penis? Every time someone calls themselves trans i get a different answer when i ask. Don't hate me for asking, I'm confused.

If you genuinely want to learn about trans people without offending anyone, how about you look up a couple of science or activist journals/news articles. Don't hate me for saying this, just confused why you thought asking this here was appropriate. :)

Appropriate, because of the audience. If a trans person can't tell me then how can someone say they are trans if they can't answer? If someone asked me what is heterosexual i would answer because I know what I claim to be. It's in no way offensive. I opened the podium for explanation.

I never said I can't, nor did I say your original statement was offensive, so don't put words into my post. As for me, I'm not entertaining a question that is a classic opener used to make fun of/attempt to devalue trans people by starting out with the 'ol "xx and xy genes" argument.

I simply said if you want a proper answer (one that's not biased, or incomplete by people who may still be learning and growing themselves), look it up. Try Google, I hear it's a good place to look for information! ;)

Google is biased, don't use it. Figured I'd get an answer from those who i thought know. Point is in today's world people call themselves something but don't really know. So therefore all I have to go by is the chromosome theme.

It's like a supreme court justice being chosen because she is a woman but not being able to explain a woman. Damn i could go on and on forever describing the greatness of a woman, and I'm a man.

(Sorry for continuing to derail this convo folks!) but I'm going to assume this question wasnt asked in bad faith and try to answer it.

Via google, transgender means: "a person whose gender identity does not correspond with the sex registered for them at birth."

So in simple terms, a trans person is anyone who was assigned a gender based off their genitals at birth, then later transitioned to a different gender. (ie, a trans man is someone who was assigned female at birth but now identifies/transitioned to being a man)
Thats all very simplified and there is a lot of nuance and different ways someone can be transgender though.

Some trans people chose to have surgery to change their genitals to affirm their gender. Intersex (which is different from transgender) people are born with mixed sex characteristics, including xx chromosomes and a penis/xy chromosones and a vagina. While a lot of intersex people identify as trans, they are not the same thing.

Hopefully this helps answer some of your questions. Dont mind people not wanting to answer your questions or being suspicious of you, lots of trans people are defensive or on high alert when it comes to questions like this because its sometimes used against us to debate our identities rather than coming from a genuine curiousity or willingness to learn.
