Dang y’all got snow? Lucky. My area was just rainy and depressing.

It's almost perfect. Your Texan snowman is missing a Colt 45 Peacemaker and a "don't tread on me" belt buckle! Oh well, if y'all ever get snow again, maybe next time. ????

Nice! You gotta put it on the snowman next time! My next gun will probably be a .38 special revolver. I'll probably have to work my way up to a .45 once I get comfortable shooting.
I swear by the .45 I have a sig p220 in .45acp the one I showed you is an 1858 Remington new army cartridge conversion in .45 lc then I have a Henry big boy in .45 lc and finally a marlin .45-70 and might I say that '70 is badass 405 grn jacketed soft points. it would honestly be a waste of ammunition and meat to use it on a deer. I would only use it on anything that weighs as much or more than a hog

Snow didn’t make it in my neck of Texas. :( I’m too far south. But there may be more snooow! I hope! Love the texas style snowman tho. Hehe

It has a pretty stout hammer and it would've taken awhile to reload but overall it feels great in the hand
They were not difficult to load or shoot. That looks like an 1860 Army, which is .44 caliber. The Rebated Cylinder is a giveaway. If you're using the standard paper cartridges, you can reload it in about 40 seconds with a little practice. I wouldnt shoot that if its an original. Its a seriously valuable collectors item. But italian made shooters are very good quality and can be had in the 250 dollar range new, in more normal times. Pawn shops might have used ones for a bit less. Theyre fun to shoot

Yeah, you're right but the only reason I say it's the other model, is because the serial numbers do not match up to that model. I have a colt patent book and the serials match up with the '61 navy. I'm dyslexic and misread what @MishaCZ said. My grandfather tried to get it re blued but it didn't work, it fires cap and ball, no cartridges. The '58 Remington is an Italian model, and let me tell you, that sumbitch is accurate
