Spayed female, is sex possible?

So my understanding was that sex with a spayed female dog wasn’t possible at all, but recently I stumbled across a post that explains the different types of spay, and that while a spayed female won’t go into heat they can still have vaginal sex.

So my question is, is it possible? Since learning about different spay techniques and what all is done ive come to think the vagina still remains mostly intact, so am I right to assume that it’s still possible to have sex with a spayed female?

Side note i would never hurt a dog and if she showed any signs of discomfort would stop immediately but I’m just curious since I was always under the impression that it’s physically impossible.

It is physically impossible in 80% of cases, the only time it would be possible is if it is a large breed dog, spayed at a fairly later age, and with prior stretching and a lot of lube, personally I’ve never been able to penetrate all the way with any of my spayed females even the fairly loose ones. I’ve also heard of a 2 finger rule where if you can fit 2 fingers past all her rings, she can usually accommodate a average man.

I’ve heard the two finger rule, but what exactly makes it impossible, from what I’ve read and understood the vaginal canal remains intact, leading me to believe it is possible with proper preparation, I might be wrong but that’s what I grasped from what I read.

From the things I read in another post everything up to the cervix remains in tact after spay so what would stop penetration aside for the girl not going into heat(and I do understand her “hyman” would be intact which would be a Hic up but from what I’ve read it seems penetration is possible with the proper prep to ease the dogs discomfort)?? Not trying to force myself into a dog and would never want to hurt one but genuinely curious and trying to find out the facts

Basically what I’m asking is what is the factor that holds back the possibility of penetration?

Completely theoretical nothing would be “stopping you” from penetration as long as the female is large enough to accommodate you? Also remember it will be a first time for the female and quite a strange experience aswell

Okay cause the first information which I learned was incorrect stated that if she was fixed there wouldn’t be enough vaginal canal left to penetrate, but I tried once with this female years ago but I never understood the angle difference and was basically pushing straight with my finger instead of up if that makes sense so I think with the miss information and my lack of understanding it just didn’t make it possible, she is a lab so not a small dog, I think the information I got wasn’t correct or detailed enough to make it happen, im going to work with her tonight and see how she reacts to a finger, and go from there, I’d never want to hurt her she’s such a sweet pup

Sounds like a good plan! The angle of entrance is about 85 degrees upwards, you can usually tell where to go by following her canal, just remember to use lots of lube and make sure she isn’t in any discomfort. I wish you luck my friend <3

Thank you, lube is always a must, she’ll be the first female I actually feel the inside of aside from my first attempt years ago so I definitely want to be gentle and go slow, honestly this attempt will just be to feel her out and see if it’s even possible, I know I won’t be able to use my dick for at least a few weeks or a few months cause I don’t want to hurt her

It sounds like you want the best care for her and that is already a good start! There are many posts on this forum for advice on stretching id recommend you console some of them before starting anything.

That’s why I stopped initially but I believe I had the angle wrong cause I wasn’t hitting a ring or something too tight it’s like my finger hit a literal wall, so I think I just didn’t understand the angle of things and gave up before I felt around cause I didn’t want to hurt her

It sounds like your heart (and concern for her) is in the right place - even if your finger wasn't. If it's just the angle, then let's hope for both of you, that's what it is.
