Yes, a relaxing baseline for life and existence. I would get destructive with heavy metal, rock or comparable. Human voices mostly distress me in music (not all, but many).
It's a baseline for life which keeps me able to do the most precise things even after 35 hours without sleep. Without drugs, aside some caffeine.
The disadvantage with a highly persistent memory is that the selected songs follow one through many situations of life and as such get twisted, interwoven with those emotions. And as time passes, what one loved in the past might cease to exist, while those songs recall memories of the lost times linked to them.
Anyway.. by adding new ones from time to time it's at least always offering the possibility for new chapters in life.

Most were above 50 hours working on very precise electronic-mechanical developments which were as well prototype and all-day ready final product for common users without possibilities for repairs or time to check. They had to work. And did.. but after they were done, I was quite unable to do anything productive before going to sleep. "The mad scientist fox" isn't just a persona or comparable..
