Sounds like a pretty flimsy shallow relationship on borrowed time doomed to failure from day 1. Of course the fact an ultimatum is thrown around is pretty telling of that fact as well. My relationship skills and experience are non-existent, and even I know that's not how stable relationships work.

In this situation I feel it's best to leave it be. No reason for an ultimatum. Divorce over something like that seems childish and like stated above, what if you can't find someone who at bare minimum accepts the lifestyle.
