Even in the places it's still "legal" it's still socially unacceptable and if they really want to they'll just tag you with some other charge such as animal cruelty that will be easy enough to stick. There's no place in the world you can get caught and freely let off.

99% sure it's illegal to watch if in your state or country it's outlawed or if the film or was produced somewhere the act is illegal just like CP
