It's not condescending or insulting, that's the proper term for a female canine. The derogatory use of "bitch" to a woman is to imply she's acting like a female dog. If one is familiar with dogs, especially in groups, females can be very aggressive and unforgiving. In the canine world, females are often the pack leaders. It's no more offensive than calling a female horse a mare, a female donkey a jenny, or a female bear a sow., those are the terms used to denote the female of that species.

Bruh language changes over time.

These days "bitch" is used more to refer to bad women (and sometimes, usually gay, men) more than it is to refer to a dog. Why don't we just make a new term? Like doggalina lol

I think you might agree, there are far too many people who don't have a dog and never have owned a dog, OR own a dog only for sexual purposes ( ! ) and THINK they know all about dogs. That's incredibly stupid, and very unfortunate for the dog.

Bruh, don't be surprised when people use language as it is defined. I mean, if that went out of style 100 years ago, sure, but it's common parlance today. It is not my fault you don't deal with dogs, but rather "bad women (and sometimes, usually gay, men)".

You can redefine it if you like, I'm not telling you not to, but don't try to "correct" me with an incorrect definition.

And fewer yet have mares, do we now refer to female horses as "sows" or maybe "hens"?
No disagreement on it being an unfortunate situation for the dog, and probably for some of the humans, too.

Dude peoplen use urbandictionary over Oxford dictionary these days because the wanky dictionaries take too long to add words/update definitions of already used words.

We are living in a time where we, the people, truly get to decide how are language is written/spoken instead of ivory tower buffoons. That's the beauty of an educated populace + the Internet

Hmm, I think I will stick with commonly accepted meanings, this slang shit changes too often. I don't object that "bitch" has a slang meaning. I don't even care that for some people it's the first one that comes to mind, but to tell people they shouldn't use terms in their well known, well used meanings is kinda stupid because that's what makes language useful. When I say "This dog is a bitch" most intelligent english speakers know what I am saying, but if I say "Bruh, dog be doggalina" I wouldn't expect anyone but you to have any idea what I'm trying to express and would expect to be dismissed as a fucking moron, same as someone not grokkin that a bitch be a dog with a jelly roll. You hep?
