In my years with a lot of dogs and horses have I never experienced any STD from any animal in my perspective so don't worry about that

Same way to prevent STDs with a human partner. Don't fuck around with strangers and catch something to begin with. Healthy safe partner = healthy safe you.
Unless an infected person was having sex with a female dog. There could be a chance you could get it, but after awhile that STD won't last long in a dog. May be a week or so.
