according to science what determins a babies qualities is changing according to DNA strings.
think of it like a puzzle that creates a picture - just that every time you have a baby the picture changes alittle bit even if you have the baby from the same partner.

so if you are talking about cross species it can be even more random with more possibilities - one babit could be mostly dog but a mouth like human or other one can be mostly human with mouth like dog and etc

I've always wondered if the sperm actually tries to fertilize the egg in these situations. Like, can they not find it because the chemical signals are different? Are they knocking on the door of the egg, but don't have the right key to unlock and get in? Do they get in, but things don't match up, so the whole thing just falls apart immediately? Someone needs to do lots of testing on this......for science.

it was actually tried and the egg gets fertilaized and then collapse after alittle while
 
i wonder if the same is true for the other way around if its the same both ways, so the guy can effectively fertilize the egg in a dog when the sperm reaches her egg. mm wonder how long it takes for the hole thing to fall apart, maybe a fun way to avoid getting pregnant with regular k9 sex. i guess same things happen with other animals like horses. In theory or as a fantasy, yes, I'd love to impregnate my newfie and have her children. But In actuality no. Don't really care of I have children or not, I'll take care of my kid if i ever have one, but won't be sad if I don't.
