Can't steal from it? Bullshit. Don't scan it with your app, rip the barcode/security strip off, the door won't know what you did or didn't walk out with. And no human there to stop you.
At my work high value items (hell, over $20) are kept in security clamshell cases that will set off the security scanner at the doors. We regularly find them busted open and pilfered in the corners of the store.

Also. Can't get in without a phone the app and a credit card? It's a fucking waist-high "turnstyle". Just over it. You just got in without the computers knowing who you are or having anyway to charge you.
