San Jose Sharks unveiling of the now famous “Shark Head” at the San Jose Arena (now the SAP Center) back in 1993. The Shark Head was initially supposed to be a one-year gimmick to boost interest. To this day it is still lowered to ice level from the rafters for the Sharks players to skate out of before every home game.
