Ive known a couple...Housecats generally hate water because their coats arent waterproof....They soak up water to the point where theyd sink to the bottom and drown in a pond or stream, or even a filled hot tub. Learned that tying Trout Flies....they sink like a stone.

Tigers and some others like to bathe because they DO have greasy Hair that shucks water fast. The bath takes the dust out of the coat
