Well, he's got some growing up to do, some basic life skills to learn, and a bond to deepen. But, in time, sex or no sex, he'll be another partner.

Lucky? definitely! Crazy for thinking 3 huskies is a good idea? OH YEAH! I'm "hoping" he'll grow up to add some of the missing physical pieces, but if not I'll just enjoy what he will do, much like my male now ?

I'm just happy the other 6 finally found homes that passed my screening test.

Indeed! Never can have to many husky floofs! Oh yeah indeed. I hope he does, indeed just love him for what ever companionship and company he will give you. You are just lucky to have everything you have.

Indeed we all want the best for our furry buddies. Nice you care so much for their welfare. Thanks for having standards. So many folks do not and their offerings suffer because of it.

I'm the type that, if my financial situation dives, they'll eat before I do.

Awesome! that's how pet owners should be. seen way too many people who neglect or abuse there pets to the point of starvation and death. Most often they live in deplorable settings too. Our humane society here has had to take in many animals because of this on many different occasions.

Humans are just mostly garbage that honestly makes me wish these creatures didn't exists in the first place, to be spared the ways of the skin monkeys.

He looks very young, I take it you live with the dam if not the sire as well?

We don't let our GSD pups leave until 12 weeks to ensure they have had all their main injections, are old enough to separate from mum ready to explore the world confidently, well socialised and exposed to lots of sounds and smells and are free from any health issues.

Those would be my mates yes

I did their 8 week, adopters do the rest. And 8 weeks is a perfectly fine age to separate, according to several breeder friends, and my vet.

My vet actually wants them gone now (7w) to take pressure of mom and get those back mammories healing, but people can't get their shit together and actually show up (yes I took deposits)

Mine are very well socialized, confident and bright. Those that have gone have reported back nothing but positive things, like sleeping quietly in their kennel, cause I exposed them to that as well

I've been commended by many for how I raised these pups, as I raised them, in my home as if they were regular puppies.

They also went out with some starter training( come, sit, potty pads, toy interaction, don't chew, don't bite), those who had names had the names they chose reinforced

That's ok, he just look very young for you to have purchased him at that size.

8 weeks is Ok, I just prefer a bit older to eliminate the risk of separation anxiety, but if they are well socialised and outgoing, that is less of an issue. Part of the problem comes if they go from having brothers and sisters to play with, to being left all day by yourself when your new human goes to work. But no doubt your selecting people that would be there for the puppy as well, at least till they were a bit older.

Puppy teeth are murder on anything sensitive like nipples, but moving up departure aids mum but only at the potential cost of the pups, so you must do what you think is right weighing things up. But you could always provide a bit of separation to prevent constant requests for milkshakes without a complete separation via the use of a puppy pen or gated doorway.

That all sounds very good, do you also provide diet sheets for their new family explaining what food to give and appropriate quanities or changes in diet as they mature and their body requires different things?

We as registered breeders also offer a return policy, if you can't take care of the dog for whatever reason, bring them back and we will find them a new home, rather than them ever going anywhere near a pound/shelter. Thus every dog we bring into the world, we ensure always is wanted and has a home, so as not to add to the over burdened shelter system.

Good luck with find all the pups the very best of homes. :gsd_happysmile:

I'm just a guy who let his girl have a litter

The contract was just "butt covering",oh and included a stipulation that unwanted dogs come back, deposits were to make people come back

But

So the diet thing, they had a ref sheet I made them, food, treats, deworm log, with attached vet notes, and a grab bag with food, treats, a toy, nice collars

Edit to add: I also have everyone who claimed one linked to the parent FB, and all have agreed to stay so I can see them happy ?. They also know they can reach out any time if they need advice or assistance.

I tend to agree with you 100% So many grind my gears in so many ways. Eyup non exitance would be so much better in many instances. Indeed us skin monkeys can be such assholes at times.

I tend to cut myself short in these types of convos because my view on fixing the world is too dark for most to handle.

TLDR I don't think Thanos culled enough
