He's a "Hangin' Tree Cowdog". They are trying to pass his breed off with the akc, vet marks him down as a catahoula mix which is a bit strange considering catahoulas are already mixes. They have a website for this specific bloodline of cattle herding dog, and is very popular among breeders. Very expensive also, lots of breeders trying to populate them. They claim them as the "ultimate dog" and Jack and I have been buddies for almost 4 years, and I can say he excels in just about everything. Great hunter, very intelligent...almost human in his communications, very good listener, and I've seen him get mean when he's supposed to.
