Sorry I think we had a language problem, it just looked like he had part of his tail removed, which I find sad to see unless there is a good medical reason, like it was damaged in an accident.

Is tail docking still commonly practiced where you live? It's been outlawed here for many years now.

It is good that you love him, I'm sure he is a wonderful dog, and it's certainly not your or his fault it happened, if that was the way things were when you got him. And any dog is always very lucky to have a loving home to live in, so I'm sure he has a happy life with you.

Tail docking is still legal in most of the Americas, except Brasil (since 2014), Chile, Colombia and the Maritime Provinces of Canada. A few European countries allow it, but with restrictions.

Fell in love the moment I saw her. But I'm too much of a hard ass to be wrapped around that dainty paw. Lol
Still.... she's about the best snuggler. Far less drool than the Saint.

Oh sure, that's what you tell us, but I suspect those dainty paws have some real pulling power at times, and I have no doubt you would do all you could to make her happy, if she needed something from you.
