Post reset issues

Hi!!

I am unable to attach any photos or videos to this text box, any text box actually - attachments just dont seem to work - and copy/paste does but when submit an error appers

Perhaps it’s just me but I think majority of the uploaded movies in the porn sections are playing highly slow and often freezing/buffering etc

Having that said - I strongly doubt if this is my connection and whether I have witnessed the same just before forums blackout…

Any thoughts ?
 
Right now nobody knows who owns the server, who is financing it, where the money is from or how long it will take to put the forum back to fully operational state.
The forum has been revived by the previous admin possibly together with zthorse but there has been no sufficient communication towards us from them about it. Nor any explanation why they did not contact any mods or other admins while the forum was offline.

I actually saw Taco showing as online earlier this afternoon...
 
I'm deeply saddened by all the 'drama' surrounding ZV going/being off-line and it's return, especially that there appears to be some serious communication issues and 'disconnect' amongst those with Admin privileges and the rest of ZV's staff.

Not to play 'telephone' or add to the drama it is highly likely that ZTHorse is a large part, if not the primary contributor, to ZV's return to on-line status. All I know about Sloppy Taco is that apparently, he is the technical Admin for the forum, whether he has actual access to the hardware it runs on I do not know.

In my private dialog with ZT he has been VERY tight lipped regarding all this and I'm not going to press him for information which he's unable to divulge for security reasons. I'm just grateful that, even in his 'retirement', he still maintains a relationship with the forum and cares enough to ensure its survival. I feel that anyone that appreciates/enjoys this forum genuinely owes him a debt of gratitude in spite of any disagreements or misgivings they may have regarding him.
 
Oh man, glad i finally got back in. I was getting errors saying that my account didn't exist. I was trying to login using my email and password. Eventually I tried using my username and password instead and it got me in. I dunno if email is not working for people across the board or not, but that was an error i had to figure out. Couldn't even discuss it in here because I couldn't log in.

So happy to be back. Hoping that things start shaping up and getting back to normal here soon <3
 
So happy to see the websites back up and running! I kept checking to see if it was constantly. Thank you so so much to the admins and staff/people who keep this sight available. 🐾❤️
 
A member problem.
They're geniuses at zooville. I can't reach out to moderators or admins with a new account because the confirmation email wasn't sent. So I neither can reset the password nor open a new account and get help from admin. It requires a master's degree in physics to be so clever. Even on the help page is no contact details. 🤦

Confirmation emails should be sent. That is a server issue if it does not work, but normally it works.

Mkay, Belle asked and I thought I would help him because he is a long time member.
Many people are suffering because of the ZCA shutdown because neither ZV nor ZC is suitable to replace ZCA. Not even temporarily.

The mail server was broken in the beginning, but the admin said it is fixed.

ZCA is Floofy's project and I can not help with that in any way other than saying that there were plans being discussed about restarting it and some suggestions of possible changes on beast chat before it shut down.

Unlike ZV, ZCA was run and will be run by a closer group of people. Which is the reason why some of us including me were not and will not be mods there. ZV mods were recruited over time from a group of people all around the world.
On ZV we do not really know each other much, the only thing that binds us together is the shared job of being mods. Of course it does not prevent us from forming closer bonds, but I have personally never met any other zv mod in person, I barely know anything about some of them and vice versa. While I do trust some other mods more than regular users, there is still the same level of personal secrecy between us as well.

Does anyone have any idea when this could get done? A week? A month? Never?
I'm a bit hesitant to upload anything without it. All throughout the downtime I was working on new art, and Id like to share it.
