Actually, looking back I can find humor in it. It's mainly a running joke within our family, as my grandmother made one when my mother was a kid. I think my great-grandmother made one as well. The only time I really ever got by butt spanked as a kid was when I did something REALLY bad. Most of the time she'd just deduct my monetary allowance, or take away my toys for a set amount of time. i realize it's hard to not feel like an asshole, but you can't help the fact that (if i'm reading this right) you're just not interested in humans. if you feel the need to, find some kind of excuse that doesn't reveal the truth but makes them understand that it's not anything wrong with them.
