Ah well...She had a mimosa with Mom....and then went off to find General Coulter. She passed away a few years later, at 61....but even at that age...She HAD it.

She was a star precode.. .a lot of leg was normal. A few of the actresses in the day came very close to full nudity, and caused the reaction that became the MPCA. Harlow was probably the most notorious....Her gowns were always Diaphanous....and showed her nipples. Apparently she iced them between takes to keep them prominent. Then the bluenoses took over. The whole flavor of American film went from pretty sophisticated to "Ma and Pa Kettle On The Farm"....much as we seem to be doing now....almost a hundred years later. The wave hasnt really hit Film or Television but its permeating every day life. A bit of boobie sets the world atwitter. If its the right boob, of course...

All this is interesting to me, having spent time watching old movies with my parents and learning an appreciation of those movies.
