a picture a very sweet friend sent. This is a Billbergia, aka "A Flaming Torch". How it got here from South America is a bit of a riddle.

He passed thru a village, and got quite a laugh...When asked about the two Rowing sweeps, he says, says He...." Oars?....Them's not Oars....one's yer Wife and t'other's yer Mum-in-law!"
Looks like the ladies are doing a bit of "Grecian Tableau"
