I believe its neither. A notable feature of the Shore Horses of the East Coast is the tendency to being short, potbellied little critters. They are genetically mostly Pony breeds

Actually, I rarely missed much. That Hojo's has probably been gone for Twenty years, and most of what WAS old Times Square then with it. I'm told the Hojo made the dirtiest Martini in NYC.... but the pic dates from about 1960

The Model's name was listed in the Artist's book simply as 'Rafaela'. Though she posed for seven or eight of de Lempicka's works, the last name remains unknown.
