Reeves' Pheasant....Being a flytier, I covet feathers such as those....one tail feather can make up to 3 or 400 flies...and the Pheasant Tail Nymph is a deadly little bug....

Hilda, chasing Fireflies....They don't do well on the West Coast....I dont think I ever saw one out here... But Hilda reminds me of the Strawberry Queen, the first time I took her into my woods in Md. Being a Washington gal all her life, she was all over the place catching them....But I imposed the same rule for her I gave my kids when they were small....all lightning bugs get turned loose before bed.
