and you're wrong about "Some French Dude"....Jesse Reno was a US Army General, during the Civil War, who was killed at South Mountain, near Antietam, in Maryland in 1862. Like Hazen and some other towns in the Vicinity, Reno was named by some of his Troops Post-War.
You've never been down to City Hall in Reno? His Statue is right there....More....General Reno was well enough thought of to have both a Fort Reno and a Second Town, El Reno, Oklahoma named for him, as well as an established Marker on the site of his death. If you're a Nevadan, you should know these things. BTW, I don't think I've heard about a toll road in Reno. Henness Pass Road, aka Dog Valley Road may have had a toll booth on it. But that's in Verdi.
