Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas all.

I know many of you will be spending today with your families, be that human or otherwise. But I find myself alone for the first time on Christmas this. I thought there's a good chance some others are the same, so if anyone wants to hang out in the thread, would be nice to have some company. I'll be keeping an eye out for any replies!

I'm a late 20s EnBy person from the UK, currently eating cheese and crackers playing with linux on an old phone

I reckon you're gonna be good though, if you're already fiddling with Linux on a mobile I think you're probably gonna find a way to keep busy all day :husky_wink:

Hahaha for sure!

Gotta keep your mind occupied, I lost my son in 2019, and Christmas has never been the same, so I tend to prefer to let others enjoy their time. I don't want to be a downer yknow

In my case, I travelled to be with my family but couldn't bring my boys with me, so in a way I'm feeling alone too...
 
Aww man sorry to hear it bud! No one should be alone on this festive time of year. I am with family myself but would hop across the pond if I could.

I love England. I spent two years there while in the Air Force in a lovely little place called Mildnehall. So much beautiful countryside and history to be seen. hope to be able to get back their to see more of it at some point.

Anyhow sending you some friendly hugs, cuddles and nuzzles and wishing you an awesome rest of your Christmas and absolutely smashing New Year! May the future bring some amazingly wonderful surprises!

I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath when I was in the Air Force and went to Mildenhall quite often.

I traveled to lakenheath via the shuttle to do most of my shopping, even visited the medical facilities for a stretch after I broke the little toe on my right foot and messed up my ankle at the same time. Was stationed there from 95'-97'.

I was there a bit earlier '77 to '79. I would go to Mildenhall to use the darkroom they had there and take photography courses.

I would have been just a child a this time 6 years old in 77'. Photography is a blast , I took it as part of my graphics course in collage and spent many hours in the dark room.

I don't mind being alone tbh, I somewhat misanthropic, I must admit.
