Yes, in heat I’m lucky to get myself cleaned up before she’s already asking for it again. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy her heats, but it can become tiring lol. My girl tends to bleed quite a lot during her cycle, but it really doesn’t bother me much. I will while off the excess or she will clean herself before we get started, but it always makes a mess. My girl is a German Shepherd and I know that she loves me just as exclusively as I love her and I know she is loyal.
That said, I would not take offense if she were to mate with another dog. That is nature and it would be wrong to anthropomorphize her by expecting her to be monogamous.

Hmm, you bring up a valid point about breeding her. Maybe I could possibly come around to that idea sometime.
