Is your husband also a degenerate? Is he high in openness? Describe your husband. In theory you should know him better than anyone, and peg where he might stand, or if he'd be open to the idea. Its a very taboo and I can see someone being rightfully repulsed. So if you think based off his personality it could have a broader effect on your relationship, I'd air on the side of caution.

I have to agree with @FluffyLittleRabbit in talking with him first. You can start by expressing some more main stream desires/fantasies that you have, like being discreetly played with in public, and work up from there. This will take more time but I think you both need to be comfortable talking about these things first before showing him your interest in k9.
