@Heatherinbama The thing to do is get with a small pony. There's a lot less risk then.

I fooled around with horses in a barn that was somewhat of an open pavilion. I also did things in the arena behind it. There was an industrial area a quarter mile away with big buildings and very few small windows. Still someone could have seen. Also, someone could have just driven further down the dirt road beside our property and they'd have seen me from the other side. Yep, I was younger and not careful enough.

Drive by a house with a few small ponies every day, there's a shed turned so the opening is away from the road, mind definitely wanders thinking about it

Absolutely! My mind wonders when I pass similar places too. They don't necessarily have a shed like that, but they usually have more of a wide variety of animals, and don't seem like run of the mill horse people.
