We can use wallets that don’t require personal info to be linked, and
we can avoid centralized exchanges that force KYC (Know Your Customer) rules.
And how do you expect to convince exchanges to support and do the work needed to utilize this coin when as Pes has stated... the actions of this community are illegal pretty much everywhere. Why would an exchange want to touch this coin at all?
Plus, with tools like mixers or privacy-focused wallets, your transactions don’t have to be easily traceable. For those worried about being “outed,” there are ways to participate without revealing personal details.
Again, you're going to have to convince those that run these services to support this coin. There are thousands of crypto coins out there, most are not supported my most services. Upstart coins usually have to fight to get any headway with services provided by others. So you're either going to have to run this yourself... or you're going to have to pay another service to convince them to update their site to support this coin.
There are decentralized exchanges (DEXs) that don’t require KYC and allow people to trade directly, peer-to-peer. You don't need to expose your identity to participate. We can also explore using the strictly within our community, where everyone knows each other and trusts the system, avoiding larger exposure.
Same problem as above. yes decentralized exchanges exist... convincing them to support a coin that's used/backed by the zoo community is not going to be easy... if at all possible.
Lastly...
Once the coin goes public, thousands of people will be accessing it and no one will start tracing the wallets of thousands of people. You do not have to worry at all about that.
Menawhile the IRS casually monitors all transactions over $600 like its no big deal... They are able to process and monitor the back account of hundreds of millions of americans without issue... yet you expect us to believe that another gov agency couldn't quickly map out a small crypto ledger? Thousands of people using a ledger would be converted into a searchable node tree in less than a minute.
Come on bro... you're either incredibly naive... or you're intentionally being malicious and trying to convince people this is a safe idea.
Utility: The real use for ACC is within our community—think of it as a fun way to exchange value and engage with each other. Instead of converting it back to regular money, we could use it for community rewards, tipping, or even small exchanges between members.
It would be far easier for the community to just agree to a coin that's already exists and has well supported infrastructure... than to create a new coin to represent us. We could just all agree to use DOGE, and then that use case is covered.
But even well supported coins don't get much use. Fact is for most people, crypto is too complicated and to much of an unknown to want to bother with. They've got lives and other things they are concerned with... crypto is not one of them. And because this lifestyle is illegal almost everywhere... people are super cautious with anything that can be linked back to them. That's why I only accept crypto donations for my art work. And in over four years only 4 or 5 people have ever sent me anything. Meanwhile some zoo artists that live in countries that don't care about this... are pulling in +$4,000 USD a month on subscribestar. Why... because using dollars is easy.
The focus isn’t on turning it into dollars...
Yet you said previously...
Maybe one day this coin could have real value within our community, or even beyond! ?
If the focus isnt on turning it into dollars... why are you talking about "real value" beyond our community... and using the dollar face emoji?
but rather keeping it within our group as a fun and engaging tool. It will be a crypto projet driven by a secret community. And we do not have to directly link it to the community, "zoo ville"
You're changing your initial proposition now. First it was to create a coin to represent the community... as you said...
A lighthearted and community-driven cryptocurrency. Think of it as a way for us to engage with one another while also spreading the word about our connection with our four-legged friends.
But now you're saying it doesn't even have to have a link to the community?
Yeah I know that. But we do not have to directly link it to this community, we do not even have to creat a name that suggests anything about this community.
Not going to do much representation then is there?
We could choose a name of an animal, something that we believe in or just an acronym.
Why shouldnt people just all use DOGE then? It already exists... is well supported... is animal related... There's NO reason to put out the effort to make a custom coin to represent out community... then try to hide that representation from everyone else online.
This is a neat idea at face value... but the moment you scratch the surface of the idea even a bit... it's a horrible idea full of multiple issues that would not bring any benefit and could/would represent real danger to members of the community if they use it improperly and aren't constantly up to date on the best security practices.
