My spouse and I are open about sleeping with other people, but after gently testing the waters feel it’s best to keep this part of me hidden from them. I get that lives are complicated, and I feel there are many worse secrets to keep, and not all secrets are bad, but there is still some sadness in not being able to share this kink together.

I'm so sorry... I know what some of you may be going through.

I had a female partner when I was young, and it's not that I was a very good lover with her, it's a long story, but we had a pact of the wolves (I don't know if you understand me) and that when we were older we would go to live together...

But she committed suicide, and the whirlpool that formed when her soul ship sank dragged me with it, I was barely able to get to the surface, and, although my sister did know something for a long time; now it's no secret for the family.

They won't let me take care of their dogs anymore obviously, but they respect and accept me, and that's the most important thing.
 
Honesty is the best policy, but who do you trust with that honesty?
Luckily, we share similar tastes as a couple and we are open about it with each other.
I (Mr) have chatted online or in private chats with others who are genuine in this lifestyle, but discretion is a key factor, as well as finding the right people which is so hard to do.

As mentioned in the above comments about fidelity & infidelity with their four legged companions, some will do it to take away the urge of cheating with humans, especially as they don't have big mouths and go bragging to their mates about it.

I didn't figure myself out until after I was already married and I love my husband so I don't think I'd ever do more than watch others unless we got divorced.
