So I'll try to make this make sense as much as possible, my English isn't that great... I'll probably use a.i to proof read it but uhm.....
"I really want to try mating with a dog. The only thing is:

1. I have a one-year-old child.
2. I am in a relationship with the mother of my child.
3. I don't have a dog.
4. I disclosed my fetish for bestiality to her, and although she accepts me, she's not willing to participate. I mentioned to her once, 'What if it was just for me?' but I can't recall her response.

So let me get this right. Your dream situation would be to get a male dog, and have the dog service both your partner so you can watch, then also service you. I mean you got the hard part down , telling your girlfriend/wife .... Only you can judge where to go from there. Seems she's not digging it at all. BUT she didn't leave you, or maybe she feels trapped and doesn't want to loose you.

Only you can decide. If you get a dog and force her into the fact that at a minimum you will be getting railed by a male dog once in awhile that happens to live with you against her wishes, that's not really a nice thing to do.

Really here what is left is communication with your partner , either she warms up to the idea of sharing you, or you have to decide if you are going to leave to get your fantasy fulfilled. You can be a ass and give her an ultimatum, but I don't see that really ending well.

My advice is be a good dad for your kid that that means staying with mom. Jerk it to some porn. Then maybe some time goes by come home with a nice puppy and if she brings it up , say you totally forgot about that and are way over it... now you are into smelling underwear or some new fetish.

You would have been better off keeping it a secret, get a nice doggy, hope he's into being sexual with humans, and taking him for long walks with lots of lube and paper towels.

Thank you for the respectful response. Yes my fetish is that but I respect her wishes. Although the idea is fascinating I won't leave my partner or kid for that fantasy. I've talked to my partner and although she don't quite understand why I have this fetish, she don't want any part of it and I can totally understand why. I talked to her about what if its being me then instead but she told me it would make her feel as if she doesn't satisfy me enough. It's a fetish I dream of trying but I know what's at stake here.
 
Well you're at an interesting intersection. If you do get a dog, shes most likely going to be thinking negatively between you two, even if you do something or not. May be just take the time for now to be a family. Then later possibly get a dog.
Only other thing is making some friends around the community. But I don't want to make it sound like "Go find someone to meet" just to complete your dream.
Talking from me when I was younger, I always wanted a dog, and it took some time for that to happen.
Also, with Zoophilia, we don't consider it a "fetish." Its a lifestyle. That doesn't mean you should change your entire life. Many can be zoos and have a family. Some can have an animal, and there's no relations going on.
