If Zoo ever became socially acceptable...

I think I wouldn't be much happier, I think just letting people be who they are and accepting of this would make life much more enjoyable for everyone.
 
In the Czech Republic, according to the criminal laws, sexual intercourse with an animal itself is not a crime.
But intercourse with an animal is often considered by individuals as animal abuse.
However, no real zoo-lover was punished in court (at least as far as I can tell from the media).
Many cases of punishment were connected with the death of the animal (owned by someone else).
In many cases, criminals were convicted of trespassing on someone else's land, damaging someone else's property, etc.
That is perfectly fine, only the punishments were too light.
So I'm glad (in this case) that I live in the Czech Republic, I just hope it stays that way.

I assure you, as much as we love it, it will never become socially acceptable.
 
Depends which legalization. I don't want horses, pigs and others on city streets.
 
Unfortunately, despite zoo being around since we came down from the trees, it is unlikely we will ever see a change to societal norms. Even if it did slowly change, I doubt we would change much. I am not in the habit of discussing my sex-life with strangers, just my close friends, and, well, we don't just fuck anybody....
 
Maybe at best, I'd be able to adopt an intact dog from an animal shelter. I can't even adopt a cat from a shelter. Dogs not neutered, No cat for you! There have been people barred from adoption because they didn't neuter their pet lizard.

I am amazed how the US slid down a deep hole where communism is paraded around. Watching people in power tell those not in power that it is their fate and they must appreciate it.

So many laws have been passed that take away the rights of the people for those whom are in charge to continue to make new laws.

In that environment being Gay or Trans is seen as ungodly so I doubt there would ever be a zoo movement until the fascists and autocrats are removed.

Hopefully there will be a cleaning of house starting with the Mango Mussolini.

To have children being indoctrinated and libraries having books banned is just amazing.

How can the world look forward to accepting Zoo culture if all culture is being erased by those that steal power.

wouldn't change a single thing as I do not live my life according to others approval. But it would allow me to be much clearer with my vet ensuring my dogs much better health care

Don't care about lgbt,.. but if it's accepted then lot of people will be relief from not being targets anymore for loving "too much" animals cause it's love after all so it's already fucked up that it's illegal to me
 
In my Country in the EU it's not illegal, as long, I can just live my life in peace with my dog, I don't care if society will accept it. I don't want to be open about it with non zoos anyway.
 
I'd probably have to spite zoophilia then, because it got turned into a corporate-political weapon. No other way it could become socially acceptable. We're getting to the point where even staying in your lane is criminal.
 
It would just mean not needing to hide, and just answer honestly to the question "Don't you have a BF/GF ?"
Just not bein send in jail / hospital/ get a fine would be good enough
 
In my country, that won't be accepted, in my perspective, the chances are rare that it will never be granted and we have to tread carefully around .
 
About the same as everyone else, nothing would change except the fear that I could loose my family at any moment
 
Like many others i think overall my lifestyle would stay the same. It may be a bit less stressfull overall.

It could be easier an more safe for everybody, if vets where informed and also support the community.

For the community this could be a possibiltiy for more exchange and community building (Meetings, Retreats etc.).

I think it would be nice in terms of information being more available and things like that, but I don't think my lifestyle would change much.
 
Legal or "accepted" does not mean we share bedroom stuffs with the public. Just like how i don't go out screaming from the rooftops about my relationship status, or who I am currently dating. I would not tell people OH YEAH AND I FUCK THIS DOG. Its a personal choice. It is a private activity.
