How true is the German zoophile women stereotype story from the 1970's?

I once heard a story that goes like this,

Mr A. was some cop student that went to the Germany as a exchange police officer. He was fascinated by how many dogs women kept walking with and asked about it to a police officer that was also exchange police officer which replied to him "Nothing interesting". Afternoon of that day, the second exchange officer said "The reason you see lots of women with dogs is because they make them lick their pussies by putting a meat in it!. Lot of widows around here"

Of course, world looks at the Germany as the zoo capital of some sorts but this vintage story is quite interesting. I wonder how true and widespread the phenomenon was back in the day and how similar things happened at other countries.
 
i do wonder about the amount of German Zoos tho. On twitter I see more often then not German accounts. and on here too. but that could just be that psychological phenomenon confirmation bias.

I think there is more people you think that use animals for pleasure.
 
These legends originate from the fact that in the past, a lot of animal porn movies and magazines were made in Germany (and in Hungary and Romania as well), but the proportion of zoo people is still 3-5%, in the rest of the world as well.
 
Its nonsense. No different than the notion that Black People are more highly sexed, French Women are naturally Promiscuous, Greeks invented Anal Sex, Scandinavians are all Blond or Blondes and California Girls are the best of all.

Mythology is Fun, but it isn't real.

Remember that German is the second-biggest native language in Europe (after Russian), and Germany itself is the second-most populous country in Europe (again, after Russia), but with better internet access (to say nothing of freedom) than Russia.
And if you yourself tend to frequent the German internet, the algorithms will naturally lean to show you more German content.
 
I understand it was legal there until pretty recently. Someone I knew who was there in the late 80's said that it was pretty popular, and 10% of women were experienced with dogs. I don't have a source for that, so I can't say for sure if it's true. Maybe some of the locals would have further information.
