How often should I have sex with my dog?

hahaha no! it's not that i deny him to enjoy me, it's just that sometimes i don't want to because, well... i'm not in the mood hahaha but he still wants to. you know? or worse, sometimes he wants to do it at inopportune moments.
 
I make love to my boy regularly at bedtime nearly every night so he's used to it. If I'm horny I'll put 2 loads in him. Sometimes on weekends we'll have marathon sessions though and fuck each other like 4-5 times.
 
An inspiring post. Thank you all for your honesty. I always wonder about how to be sure I have a horny dog because I would need it at least daily. There was plenty of feedback here. I really love the fact that dogs are a typically horny species. In public I stare at balls and sheaths. I wait at a park hoping one lays right to lick himself so I can see a handsome red rocket.
 
It truly depends on the dog. I have had mates that have prompted me for sex multiple times a day until they got what they wanted just to repeat what they were doing the next day. Where as others did not seem interested unless I initiated. A lot of this also depends on breed and age as well. We currently have a Golden Lab, a medium sized Rottie Kelpie mix, and a Shnoodle (giant shnauzer/poodle). Our Golden is 6, he typically only wants sex 2 or 3 times a week, and he has always been like this. Our Kelpweiler is 3 and is after us on a daily basis and has a lot to do with his breed where Kelpies are herding dogs with lots of stamina and Rotties are loyal but dominant and want to be in charge. The our Shnoodle is 5, and is rather spontaneous about when he wants it, could be 3 days in a row or once a week, but he's happy to join us whenever we want to play. Try to keep things consistent. We make time on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights for our boys. Use the bedroom, turn on some music, get naked, lay down a blanket. They show up in the bedroom when the music is on because they know we're ready, and they know to wait until the blanket is down and we're in position. Having a routine is best. Trust me, having sex with up to all 3 dogs 3 or more times a week can get exhausting.
 
I don't know male dogs, I think most of them have a high libido by default...

With female dogs, it depends on whether the dog likes it. They need time for the vaginal muscles and vaginal wall to relax. This is usually 2-3 days, but it also depends on the dog. I have a dog that only asks for it after 2-3 weeks and is in the mood for it. There is also someone who is every 2 days. They usually require after 2-3-4 days. Since I have several dogs, 99% of the time there is always someone who likes sex, so the only limiting factor is me, how well I can handle it. :husky_laughing: This is typically every other day, but sometimes daily, sometimes twice a day. The average is 12-18 sex per month.
