I'll say it for the quadrillionth time: Consistency, patience, honest as practical, communication.

Plenty owners out there who enjoy group play, or would enjoy a single long term play friend / mate but As an owner we got the most to lose, so will be extremely exclusive to whom we'll meet up with. Desperation is a big red flag as is being pushy / demanding, inconsistencies and such.
