Has anyone made permanent friends in the Zoo community

I think it's difficult, friendship is made with affinity and complicity
 
I explicitly signed up here to try and make more connections (friendships) with people in the community. It's not something I know many people IRL who have interest in.

The ratio looks about right.

In your day to day life, of all the people you meet, work, neighbours... How many come as good enough friends you will keep in contact for years after?
 
Over the past 10+ years I've made a tight circle of local friends who like to occasionally have get togethers, dinners, go on outings to amusement parks, etc. It takes time finding the right people you click with. Ive had alot of people on this site want to be "friends" because they like dog dick too....ok cool. If that's all we have in common then no thanks. My friends are like any other normal group of friends except we have this Z in common.

2 things i would love...
a gf that is into this lifestyle, and friends that do not require me to think what i could "wrongly" say if i had an extra beer :p

I am like you. I have 3 close friends who are zoo as well. One lived near me and moved to mexico and has his own horse farm. the other two are in LA area and Washington state. I love and miss them. We do still chat a lot.
 
I'm so lucky that 3 of my very best friends are zoo's.

Yep. Made 7 or so long term/permanent zoo friends off the forum here and the associated chat server. It's been well worth my time being active here and on other zoo forums! Got to put yourself out there and be active for people to notice you and be able to see what you're all about.
