Except for the species, it was the same for me. 5-6 years with those lovely cows and sows before my first human females. And still the attraction for those female animals.

mine was 3rd grade on a horse farm with 2 sisters, never looked back.

I can relate to this a lot. I was always getting knocked down and humped by any intact male dog. I have been thinking on this for a while, but do you think dogs know when a human is zoo inclined? Lots of dogs stop and stare at me while their owners tug em along. Even dogs that seem well-behaved. Like recently a pitbull was staring at me from a short distance from the dog run and his owner was calling his name but the pup did not break eye contact. And pit owners are usually strict with training and such so im sure it was not usual for that dog to not listen. I have a few stories like that

Dogs respond to eye contact, I think a zoo is more likely to stare at a dog, and thus more likely for the dog to notice you are looking at them.

You and a sound like pretty similar creatures. I so can't ever say that there was ever any type of epiphany that took place, I only ever just knew. It is a part of me, and will be forever, much as the rest of the features of my body.

I can remember, much as yourself, that there was only an understanding of attraction from a young age. They've always done it. And with experience, only solidifies my understanding of this feeling I have toward the creatures I am fortunate enough whose presence has graced me.

So for me, I guess I can't understand how someone "becomes" a zoophile, because to be frank, I don't believe zoophilia is something that happens to someone later on in life, I believe you're either wired that way, or you simply aren't.
 
It is like most sexual orientations. There is a spectrum of varying degrees of attractions and ways those are felt. For example there are those that are attached to certain animals because they find a closeness with those individuals but could also find that kind of attraction with a human if the person had compatible personality.
From what I have observed there are those that just seem to be zoo from early on however there are those that do grow into it. Although it could be debated that those people had a tendency for it, though having a tendency does not mean you will be it. Also there is societal conditioning. Which for some is quite strong and leads to people not even considering alternative sexuality. They may have an image of who they are told they are supposed to be and may not be exposed to much other than that narrow ideology. This type fits the ones that found an image or saw an animal doing something and things in their mind shifted. Which then can lead to conflict of what they think they are supposed to be and the newly found feeling.
In short personal sexuality is not always a simple, I am this, it is a lot more wibbly wobbly.
 
I guess you could say I was born this way. It wasnt something I thoughtabout growing up. I just was, who I was. Thats it.
