Oh yeah, that's what it's all about. 14 hour shifts are rough though. I have been there in the past but thankfully don't go over 12 hours much anymore.

Rough, well one of the golden things about being a zoo is that your partner doesn't care what you make... unless its an akita, i swear they're born knowing that they're royalty.

Now that would actually work out all right for me as its too hot during summer for my girl to be outside during the day, only i work way away from home so i dont really get too see her at all sadly

They pretty much go straight back to sleep when I leave. Last time they were still fast asleep when I got back at 8am, I even managed to get in the house and make a brew without waking them ?

Do most peoples dogs sleep primarily at night?
Seems like my girl might be borderline nocturnal in comparison, shes way more exited to walk at night compared to the day. (Might be because we hunt at night though)

My shifts vary weekly and often daily, so overnights are common, normally work anything from 10 to 14 hour shifts, with the occasional 24
